How about the refrigeration of the dismountable plate heat exchanger?
1. For dismountable plate heat exchangers used in refrigeration equipment, because the refrigerant pressure is relatively high (approximately 256ar) and the permeability is strong, when selecting the model, priority should be given to high-pressure brazed plate heat exchangers specifically manufactured for the refrigeration industry.
2. Thermal conductivity is an important factor in testing the actual heat transfer effect of a heat exchanger. With the improvement of the unit volume energy efficiency requirements of refrigeration units, the unit volume heat transfer capacity of plate heat exchangers used in refrigeration equipment should also be correspondingly improved. Water-cooled and ethylene glycol-cooled generator sets use high-efficiency, tightly brazed stainless steel plate heat exchangers, which have a certain degree of improvement in heat transfer efficiency compared to shell-and-tube heat exchangers, while the fouling rate is only 1/10 of that of tube-type coolers.

3. Large pressure drop inside the cooler will reduce the condensation temperature of the steam, leading to a reduction in the heat transfer temperature difference; large pressure drop inside the evaporator will cause excessive superheating of the inlet and outlet steam. Both of these situations will increase the heat transfer amount, which is harmful to heat transfer. For coolers, it is recommended that the refrigerant (such as R22) pressure drop be <0.03-0.04MPa; for evaporators, the pressure drop be <0.01-0.03MP2.
4. For air-cooled modular units, the water-side heat exchanger is used as an evaporator in summer and a cooler in winter. During design, the calculation should be done separately for both, with the larger total area as the standard.
Cleaning process of dismountable plate heat exchanger
I believe that not everyone is familiar with plate heat exchangers. So, do you know how to clean a plate heat exchanger? Let's learn about how to clean a plate heat exchanger together.
Preliminary inspection: Create a file for stainless steel plates and gaskets used under high temperature and corrosive substances, and conduct initial linear regression analysis on the corrosion of the plates and the aging of the gaskets to formulate an effective cleaning plan.
Remove gaskets: Carefully remove the gaskets from each plate. When removing the rubber gaskets, we will adopt corresponding maintenance methods to avoid damage to the gaskets.
Plate cleaning: We will put the plates into more professional cleaning equipment. The entire cleaning process has strict procedures to ensure plate cleaning. Different cleaning plans are formulated for different working conditions.
Dye penetrant inspection: Using dye penetrant
Cleaning: Dye
Surface inspection: After cleaning, the plates will be carefully inspected again and neatly placed, waiting for the next process.
Gasket assembly: Assemble gaskets (adhesive or non-adhesive) for the cleaned plates.
Packaging and shipping: Pack the plates with professional packaging materials, and the outer packaging uses corresponding methods to avoid scratching the plates during transportation.
