Narrow rectangular channels are formed between several plates, allowing heat exchange through the plates. Plate heat exchangers are ideal equipment for liquid-liquid and liquid-gas heat exchange. Using this product offers many advantages. For example, it features high heat exchange efficiency, low heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, wide range of applications, and long service life. Under the same pressure drop, its heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times that of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, its plate surface area is one-third that of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can reach 90%. Due to the limitations of the pressure performance of the rubber gasket itself, the general working pressure does not exceed 2 MPa, and the working temperature is relatively low. Rubber gaskets are very sensitive to temperatures above 200℃; long-term use above 200℃ will cause the seal to plastically deform and become unrecoverable. They are not suitable for scenarios with many impurities. Because the groove depth of the corrugated plate is generally 2-6 mm, when there are too many impurities, it will block the flow channel and reduce the heat exchange efficiency.
