The plate heat exchanger and heat exchanger unit is a highly efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly product that can provide heating and hot water applications. However, some problems inevitably occur during use, such as the temperature not reaching the set point.
Zhilin recommends reasons why the heat exchanger unit may not reach the set temperature:
1. Insufficient primary-side fluid flow rate, resulting in a large temperature difference on the hot side and low loss. Heat exchanger
2. Low temperature on the cold side, and low temperatures at both the cold and hot ends. Plate heat exchanger unit
3. Uneven flow distribution among several plate heat exchangers operating in series.
4. Severe scaling inside the heat exchanger unit.
Zhilin suggests that low secondary water supply temperature may be due to the following reasons:
(1) Insufficient primary-side power supply flow rate:
Check if all valves in the primary-side supply and return pipelines are fully open. Check if the primary-side filter is blocked.
If all valves are open, check the pressure difference between the primary supply and return water. If the pressure difference is less than 0.05MPa, please ask the heating company to increase the flow rate. If the primary supply and return water pressure difference is greater than 0.15MPa, please clean the plate heat exchanger.
(2) Secondary-side system malfunction:
Check if all valves in the secondary-side supply and return pipelines are fully open. Check if the secondary-side filter is blocked.
If the pressure difference at the inlet and outlet of the secondary-side heat exchanger exceeds 0.15MPa, the heat exchanger is blocked. Please clean the heat exchanger.
If the heat exchanger unit does not reach the set temperature, it cannot provide normal heating and hot water supply to customers, which is particularly detrimental in winter. Therefore, problems should be investigated immediately, and effective solutions should be found.
