Overview

Volume-type Heat Exchanger

The volume-type heat exchanger is a widely used type of heat exchanger. It is mainly composed of a body, steam coil assembly, steam inlet and outlet, and hot and cold water inlet and outlet.

The volume-type heat exchanger is made by increasing the volume of an ordinary floating coil heat exchanger. It is mainly used in hot water supply systems. An automatic temperature control device should generally be installed at the outlet to ensure a suitable water supply temperature for shower water or sanitary hot water. In addition to having all the advantages of ordinary floating coils, it can also store a certain amount of hot water to ensure a timely hot water supply. Its characteristics are:

  (1) Fast start-up: Due to the special structure of this product, the hot water produced quickly reaches the hot water outlet at the top of the tank, without the need to heat most of the cold water
to supply hot water.

  (2) High heat transfer coefficient: The elastic tube bundle is made of high-conductivity, high-efficiency heat transfer elements. Coupled with the reasonable internal structure of the heat exchanger, the performance of the heat exchanger is greatly improved.

  (3) Automatic scale shedding: The fluid that easily forms turbulence has a strong scouring effect on the heat transfer tube wall. Coupled with the thermal compensation capability of the elastic tube bundle itself, it has a self-cleaning effect through thermal expansion and contraction. When the scale reaches a certain thickness, it will automatically fall off, so it is not easy to scale.

  (4) No cold water zone, high volume utilization rate: This product always heats the cold water at the bottom of the tank. When the water consumption is lower than the rated water supply capacity, the cold water in the tank is gradually heated, at which time there is no cold water zone, so as to maintain the maximum hot water reserve. When the water consumption is greater than the rated water supply capacity, the stored hot water and the immediately heated hot water are simultaneously supplied to cope with peak water consumption. When the heat medium is stopped due to accidents or other reasons, the stored hot water can be supplied to the maximum extent.

  (5) Energy saving: When steam is used as the heat medium, the condensate temperature is below 30℃ during normal operation.
